The climate and biodiversity crisis is affecting millions of people, with the poorest being the most severely impacted. In response, Danish civil society has formed a Green Partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of developing policies, building capacity, and sharing knowledge about green solutions in the development sector, for the benefit of the world's poorest.
The Green Partnership seeks to boost green ambition and competence in the development sector, offer innovative and sustainable green solutions, and ensure civil society's involvement in political processes and program development.
Currently, the Green Partnership is focusing on three tracks:
- Greening development work
- Green political cooperation
- Nature-based solutions (NbS) and ecosystems

In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Global Focus is the secretariat for the Green Partnership. The partnership is run by a technical steering group with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CISU, Global Focus, and the 92-group.
