Global Focus is a platform that brings together more than 75 Danish non-governmental organisations engaged in global development, environmental and humanitarian activities.
In a time of global crises, disruption, and reorientations, Global Focus plays a crucial role as a unifying, relevant, focused, and effective platform that strengthens the influence and capacity of Danish civil society to promote a more just and sustainable world through cooperation and dialogue.
By bringing members together on common interests and agendas, through sharing experiences and learning and taking collective action, Global Focus contributes to securing the role of its members as key players in development cooperation. Together, we navigate and influence changes, maintain civil society´s strong position in Danish development policymaking, and strengthen equal and trust-based cooperation with partners in the global South, whilst maintaining the large support of the Danish public.
We are members of the cross-political network The 2030-panel, which supports the Danish Parliament's 2030 network and the promotion of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Global Focus is also part of Concord Europe, which strives to increase coherence between the EU's development policy areas.
