Global Focus is inviting Danish civil society organisations working with partners in the Global South to join an information meeting about the Claim Your Space funding mechanism. The meeting will be in English and will take place on September 17, 2024 at 15:00-16:30 at Global Focus, Rysensteensgade 3, 1564 Copenhagen V., in the room “Undergrunden”. Global Focus recently announced the expansion of the geographical scope of Claim Your Space to cover all countries in the Global South. Applications are now accepted from partners of Danish civil society organisations in any country included on the current version of the OECD DAC List of ODA Recipients - available on the OECD website. Claim Your Space is a response to the global shrinking civic space - the freedoms of assembly, association, and expression - and provides rapid financial support to civil society actors and human rights defenders at risk under Track-1, as well as support for establishing joint responses to shrinking civic space under Track-2.
Applications for both funding tracks can be submitted by partners of Danish CSOs in eligible countries HERE.
