Global Focus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark invite Danish civil society to a series of thematic consultations in the autumn of 2025. This is the invitation to the consultation on Information and Public Engagement by Danish Civil Society, which will explore the unique contributions of Danish civil society organisations to public engagement, how they contribute to equal representation in communication and how this role can be sustained or reimagined in a changing global context.
The purpose of the consultations is
- To provide input from Danish civil society to the implementation of Denmark’s Development Policy Strategy and inform the next generation of Strategic Partnerships (SPA 3) as well as other forms of engagement with civil society
- To share experiences, knowledge and best practices
- To explore central thematic challenges and opportunities
- To identify areas of collaboration between Danish civil society and the MFA.
The overall framing for all of the consultations will be the perspective and added value of Danish civil society in relation to international development.
