We are excited to invite Danish civil society organisations to an information meeting about the rapid response mechanism Claim Your Space!

In 2024, the geographical scope of the rapid response mechanism, Claim Your Space, was expanded and it now covers all countries included on the OECD DAC List of ODA Recipient Countries (available on the OECD website). Claim Your Space is a response to the globally shrinking civic space - the freedoms of assembly, association, and expression - and it consists of two funding tracks. Under Track 1, it provides rapid financial support to civil society actors and human rights defenders at risk while Track 2 funding supports joint responses by local CSO alliances to shrinking civic space. During the information meeting, we will outline how Claim Your Space can be made available to partners of Danish civil society organisations in the Global South and there will be the opportunity to ask questions about the application process and more.
