Learning session on Procurement and Consumption
We are looking forward to welcoming you on March 27th, where we are offering the 5th session on Climate & Environment Mainstreaming.
This event will be the third and final workshop on Benchmark 2 of the Global Focus Climate and Environment Mainstreaming Tool: Procurement and Consumption Policies and Procedures.
What:
At the event you will:
- Learn and reflect on specific issues and dilemmas related to sustainable procurement and consumption in humanitarian interventions
- Hear presentations from both UNOPS as well as a peer CSOs that will share perspectives and experiences in this space
- Follow up on the work throughout the three sessions on your own green procurement and consumption policy, and get help in taking the next steps in implementation
Sustainability consultant Louise Thomsen will be facilitating the workshop and guide you in the design of your organisation’s own procurement and consumption policy.
Who:
The workshop is targeted towards green focal points/project managers as well as colleagues who work on procurement-related matters. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need further clarification on what colleagues to invite. We strongly urge you to attend with one or more colleagues with different functions, as this will enable you to discuss and draft your policy during the workshops.
Practicalities:
