UM: Workshop-invitation - How can public-private partnerships add value to Sustainable Development Goals and business?
Mandag 23 November 2015, 08:30 - 14:00

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark is cordially inviting you to a workshop organized by the Ministry and The Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) about public-private partnerships for sustainable production and trade. The workshop offers an opportunity to learn more about IDH sector programmes and what a partnership with IDH can do for your business or organization.

Through presentations and sector workshops, you will be presented to the first results and IDH’s strategy toward 2020 to promote sustainable market transformation. Danish companies partnering with IDH will also share their experience. IDH runs 11 large scale programs in sectors like palm oil, fruits & vegetables, aquaculture, soy and cotton that aim for inclusive green growth. IDH’s mission is to accelerate and up-scale sustainable production, sourcing and trade. This is done by building public-private partnerships of companies, civil society organizations, governments and other stakeholders in order to develop innovative strategies and supply chain models which address key social and environmental challenges. IDH creates business cases for sustainable market transformation that have large scale development impact and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. IDH works with over 350 partners, including a number of Danish companies.

We are delighted to meet you at the workshop. Participation is free of charge. Register here by 16 November 2015.
