Global Focus EU funding course - NB: the course has been postponed

It is with great pleasure that Global Focus invites all members to the EU funding course on:

Development of applications for EuropeAid

When: The course has been postponed, a new date will be announced as soon as possible

Where: Salen, Globalt Fokus, Rysensteensgade 3, 1564 København V

  • Mikkel Erland Jensen, Compliance Officer, Red Barnet
  • TBA

The course is an introductory-level course designed for organizations that are planning to apply for funds from the European Commission (EuropeAid) for development projects. Most often, EuropeAid runs two-staged processes in which only the best concept notes are selected for full proposal development. Therefore the course will focus on the aspects of  writing a good concept note.

We will introduce the main funding instruments within EuropeAid, explain how concept notes are evaluated, and briefly review what constitutes a strong proposal (narrative, logframe and budget). In the context of developing a full proposal, we will introduce main issues of compliance in the management of a EuropeAid grant.

To the extent possible, participants will be requested to share in advance their own concept notes (organizational name to be redacted) so that the course can include practical exercises. More information regarding this will be send out prior to the course.

The target group is programme and finance staff responsible for designing projects and developing proposals for EuropeAid funding. The training will be conducted in Danish or English dependent on registrations. Please note that this is an introductory-level course.

Please register with your name and organisation below. Confirmation to participants will be sent out once a new date for the course has been scheduled. Limited seats available! Should we exceed capacity, priority will be based on allowing as many member organisations as possible to participate.
